svn mkdir <location>/<newFolderName>
To create a new folder in the repository

svn add <folderName>

Add new folder/file to repository upload list. Note : This does not upload the file/folder to the repository, for this we need to commit, but before that the file/fodler need to be added in the upload ready list, which is done with this command.

svn co. This command is used to pull an SVN tree
$ svn checkout/co URL PATH

svn add : Add to SVN server. This will not reflect in the server until an svn commit is done.

svn delete : Delete from SVN, but this should be followed by SVN commit

svn status : prints the status of working directories and files
$ svn status PATH

svn update : syncs your local sand box with the server.
$ svn update PATH

svn commit : recursively sends your changes to the SVN server.
$ svn commit -m “log messages”
$ svn commit -m “Making the file empty” svn-commands

svn diff: eg : svn diff -r 168:169 index.xml will output a diff showing the changes between revisions 168 and 169 of index.xml

svn move : move file from one loc to another in same SVN

svn list : lists the content oy SVN repo

$ svn log PATH
